Actually, I did catch that on the DRIVE into school today, when I was DRIVING, ALONE. I didn't hear much, but I heard enough to demonstrate that Mr. Suzuki knows more about rhetoric than how treaties and international agreements work. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, what is wrong with me? I am not even in my thirties yet and I'm listening to CBC radio.
lol Anonymous. Me too - not thirty and listening to CBC Radio. But everything else sucks! So it's either that or my iPod (which I save for work and working out).
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see some of the good and/or crazy things people come up with during the tour.
For the love of God people turn off CBC before it's too late..save yourselves!
ReplyDeleteIn the age of instant communications why does Suzuki have to take a fuel burning smoke belching bus around the country to talk about the environment.
"The David Suzuki Foundation is committed to reducing and offsetting its greenhouse gas emissions by going Carbon Neutral. All of the major emissions associated with this tour, as well as from day-to-day Foundation operations (including staff commuting, paper use, electricity consumption, and air travel) are offset through investments in sustainable energy projects such as wind farms, solar installations, or energy efficiency projects."

I am aware of that..
ReplyDeleteSo if I walk down the street and slap a child and then go over and donate to the children's hospital I'm O.K.?
Ohh, I definitely am showing up to this. And I'm telling them I'm low income too! (The same way I get out of paying for Library books)
