If you're wondering why posting has declined since last week, it isn't because I've been run out of the province. It's because I've started a new job (as a Researcher at the Alberta Public Interest Research Group at the University of Alberta).
Who, if anyone, in this group seems willing to take on the HRC issues that are bubbling in the blogosphere yet are muted by most of the MSM.
It would be completely ironic if this group cannot see that freedoms of speech/printing are under severe pressure when this is what they seem to be about.
Or has political correctness got their tongues/pens?
Dave Cournoyer began blogging in 2005 while studying Political Science at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. In 2006, he was elected Vice-President (External) his Students’ Union and served as Chair of the Council of Alberta University Students until 2007. Since then, he has worked as Communication Coordinator for Alberta’s official opposition party and for various advocacy and public policy groups. As well as writing on this blog, Dave also occasionally writes for publications such as SEE Magazine.
Good luck in your new position.

That's wonderful news! Good luck with the job. What sort of work will you be doing?
