For those of you interested, we're currently reading the Canadian Institute for Resource Law's Independent Review of the BHP Diamond Mine Process (June 30, 1997) for our Canadian Public Policy Seminar.
It's more interesting than it sounds.
Also, has anyone listened to the new Franz Ferdinand album? (which of course, could never be good as the first Franz Ferdinand) We're sorry to say we're slightly disappointed this time around...

Yeah, the new Franz isn't nearly as good as the first one, but it still has its moments. It just feels a little rushed. "Walk Away" is an amazing, Kinks-esque song, though. I gave it 3.5/5 when I reviewed it.
ReplyDeleteYeah. It's not a bad CD, just really not as good as the first one. Some of the songs are catchy though.
ReplyDeleteI saw them live in Glasgow a year or so ago. They're pretty good live. I havn'r heard the whole CD yet, but "Do ya Wanna"
