  1. The arrogance of this 'government' never ceases to amaze me.

  2. Dave, remember when you had all those high hopes to do a summary of the close constituencies? kinda fell apart eh?

well here is a close one, it's called "Edmonton", it has 18 seats in it, and guess what? EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. IS. IN. PLAY THIS ELECTION.
    Including Taft's.

My question is, if the Liberals actually lose more seats than they currently have, what happens? Do they have anyone in the waitig to replace Taft?

  3. Man -- you can't make a quote like that up. Too great.

  4. The sentence immediately prior to the Premier's quote that Daveberta failed to include:

"Premier Ed Stelmach called the situation unfortunate, but said responsibility for polling stations sits with Elections Alberta and the chief electoral officer."

The Premier is right, it isn't his job. Perhaps the leader of the opposition could spend the time he didn't spend adding up the real cost of his election promises to give the CRO a hand.

  5. I think my favorite Stelmach quote is the one about how he "only debates other leaders", which was used as an excuse to get out of his Ft. Sask/Vegreville forum.

    Jerk.

  6. What a dolt. The bumbler years have displaced the bozo years.

    Sincerely,

  8. As funny as that quote appears, it certainly takes on a different spin when you read the entire context doesn't it?

That's the problem here with Dave. he doesn't deserve the respect of the masses when he suffers from such cognitive dissonance, which forces him to stretch his arguments beyond practical belief.

Every story has many angles Dave. You would do yourself a service to extend compliments and criticism based on where it was deserved.

Instead you have a hard to respect problem of only spinning and clipping stories to serve your personal beliefs. No one politician or party is perfect, and neither is anyone candidate.

The tough decisions lie in trying to pick the best of a bad lot, or even harder yet, the best of a great lot. I personally think that there are some great Liberals in this race, but some that should be having a hard time with Life, let alone a career in Public Life. Of course the same is true with some of the PC's, but I happen to think only less so.

Now I expect most of your blind supporters to add some drivel about my blind faith, etc.

Can you tell me why every Liberal in the Province is smarter than all 60 Tories? Of course you can't!

    Your just a punk...

It may be because I've never said that.

jeff j. - I didn't get as many of them done as I would have hoped, mostly due to a large amount of school related work that needed to get done. I think it's a little far fetched to say that every single seat in Edmonton is in play, but it's fair to say that Edmonton is just as competitive as it has been in the past 2-3 elections. I don't think anyone is saying it isn't.

  11. Anon... Dave has some non-partisan things to say, and when he get's time he can write some interesting articles....but like acting, it's important to remember his motivation.

Due to the obvious, his site is becoming more and more of a Liberal brochure every day... I can't wait until March 4th to get past the partisan junk.
