better than dingwall.

Ahh. Tonight, as we read about the general lameness of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA), we are also reminiscing about how good the magical first four seasons of the West Wing were. Josh, Sam, Toby, CJ. Political superstars. Total fun entertainment. The assassination attempt, the MS scandal, the re-election.


Last Sunday night, we caught part of the West Wing for the first time in an entire season, and were surprised and confused at what was going on and who was now working for who. Gladly, we weren't the only ones... Ainge from Lotusland also feels the confusion. We recommend other West Wing-a-holics (*cough*henderson*cough*sam*cough*) check out the Lotusland post...

    That blog scares me. Who hates Josh? Josh is great, and smart and fucks up a lot. It's great.
    But the new West Wing is very crazy, I agree. Who wants to watch a Republican? I can do that on CNN, and it's funnier. And Leo shouldn't be Vice President, it means he has no power, and Leo is sexy when he's got power. Also CJ still rocks.

    Actually, the power of the US Vice President varies from administration to administration. Sometimes they have no power whatsoever (Al Gore) and sometimes they're practically the Prime Minister (Dick Cheney). Bush's approch to foreign policy was written primarily by Dickie and Rummie, giving Richie B more power than any Veep in recent history. If he didn't have the personal appeal of a snuff film he would have been a real contender for president.

    Ahem. Yes, he did (no, he didn't). But his own invention allowed him to be a warm pitcher of spit with lots of pornography. I think he started ovalofficesluts.com as well.


    (I don't know if that's a real website or not, but if I were a bettin' man I would say that it is.
