Jim Dinning was lucky he lost. The current situation would not be all that different if he was in charge right now. Would he have implemented the Housing Report's suggestions to cap rental increases? No. Would the former poster-boy for TransAlta have happily accepted the Royalty Review's findings? No.
Ed had the misfortune to win and be the guy left holding Ralph's bag (excuse the visual). 10 years of shit and slime have floated to the surface now that King Ralph isn't there to plunge it back down whenever it rises. The PC party is about to pay the price for misusing their last several majority governments, nothing and no one can stop that now.
Dave Cournoyer began blogging in 2005 while studying Political Science at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. In 2006, he was elected Vice-President (External) his Students’ Union and served as Chair of the Council of Alberta University Students until 2007. Since then, he has worked as Communication Coordinator for Alberta’s official opposition party and for various advocacy and public policy groups. As well as writing on this blog, Dave also occasionally writes for publications such as SEE Magazine.
LOL
ReplyDeleteAs one of those Jim Dinning supporters I know what the creator of this video means.
