- Dave Cournoyer began blogging in 2005 while studying Political Science at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. In 2006, he was elected Vice-President (External) his Students’ Union and served as Chair of the Council of Alberta University Students until 2007. ReplyDeleteSeriously, city council needs something else to do. We're going to have domes and strange river valley rail cars and "pyramids" welcoming you to the city...geniuses at work...
I think it is a good idea. It is a good way to attract people downtown and improve our profile as Festival City during the long winter months. I like the fact that it can be used as an emergency shelter or a triage area, as well. If used properly, the dome can pay for itself in a few years.
ReplyDeleteCity Council needs to stop spending money on Churchill Square! The last upgrade was a way to attract people downtown. Give it a rest already!
