Though a 17-point press release titled "Whoppers about Jim Dinning," Alberta PC leadership frontrunner Jim Dinning has gone on the defensive by attacking some of the allegations facing the Tory Dauphin.
All this Jim Dinning, Jim Dinning, Jim Dinning talk is starting to make me think of another politician...
Ted Morton looks like he is attracting a youthful metrosexual crowd of supporters in Calgary.
Lyle Oberg has come out with a slick looking policy platform. Though it is the most extensive policy platform so far released by the candidates in this race, it still remains fairly vague.
And Dave Hancock is continuing his open-letter writing strategy, this time Hancock has sent an open-letter to Alberta School Trustees...

"And Dave Hancock is continuing his open-letter writing strategy,"
ReplyDeleteAs opposed to a "membership selling strategy?"
Daveberta,
ReplyDeleteEd Stelmach also had a big event last week - a fundraising breakfast in Edmonton. Notable for at least two items. First, it was in Alberta, not Vancouver or Toronto like a couple other dudes I could mention. And it attrached over 1,100 people.
P.S. The Morton pictures are hilarious. I'm sure each of those guys has a gun rack in their truck.
Jim Dinning is an evil reptillian kitten eater from another planet. WRONG. Jim Dinning loves kittens.
ReplyDeleteSome of the denials that Dinning presents shine some light on areas that haven't made much media - ie: finding a candidate in Lethbridge West and squeezing out Clint Dunford.
ReplyDeleteOne of the most intreging though is the one that says: "Jim Dinning sold land to the Calgary Health Region for the new hospital. WRONG."
Unlike the others, there is no explanation for this one. Is there something Dinning is hiding about his involvment with selling land to the Calgary Health Region?
If I buy on of those Ted Morton t-shirts, do you think one of those volunteer babes will go out with me.
ReplyDeleteUm, I think those "volunteer babes" are the kind that drills holes in your skull and sucks out your brain with a straw. Kinky, I suppose, if you're into that sort of thing...
ReplyDeleteGood to see Ted Morton is upholding family values and not sinking to the depraved depths of a sexually charged campaign.
ReplyDeleteI love the Morton Girls picture "PICK UP THE PHONE!"
