- Dave Cournoyer began blogging in 2005 while studying Political Science at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. In 2006, he was elected Vice-President (External) his Students’ Union and served as Chair of the Council of Alberta University Students until 2007. Since then, he has worked as Communication Coordinator for Alberta’s official opposition party and for various advocacy and public policy groups. As well as writing on this blog, Dave also occasionally writes for publications such as SEE Magazine.

ReplyDeleteOberg's group is on record in the Calgary Herald as saying they don't want to disclose donors because "the money is coming in too fast". Maybe the major donors are cosmetic surgeons ;-)

ReplyDeleteIf you look directly to the right of his face the word LIBERAL stands out in capital letters.
ReplyDeleteanonymous - good catch on the word "liberal" next to Oberg's pic. Probably the truest statement ever associated with him. Not the "we care" type of liberalism, but the Chretien/Martin "buy your votes with your own money" kind.

ReplyDeleteI was only joking with my washroom comment, but the Calgary Herald reported yesterday that candidates like Norris, for example, had their ads scribbled on the walls of washrooms at the U of C. There you go.
ReplyDeleteGive Oberg a few more days of playing tease with the media, and he (Lyle) will be cleaning washrooms, not advertising in them.
